Old Spotlights

Through the use of state-of-the-art satellite radar processing techniques, NPA regularly assist government and commercial organisations by detecting and mapping many types of ground and structure motions using satellite radar interferometry (InSAR). InSAR has a wide variety of applications - from measuring discrete urban subsidence dating back to 1992, to mapping the coverage and magnitude following large earthquakes.

Current projects

NPA's Satellite Radar Applications team are currently leading and participating in a number of Earth Observation projects for the European Space Agency (ESA), in addition to commercial projects for clients across the world.

Products & Services
Through the use of state-of-the-art remote sensing techniques NPA can detect and monitor a diverse range of past and present ground and structure motions. Whether you require wide-area assessments of oil fields; city-wide detection of historical ground and structure motions; or site-specific monitoring of localised displacements, NPA have the technology to cater for your needs.
Applications and Case Studies
NPA have worked on a variety of projects for clients across the world. Over the last 10 years NPA have applied satellite radar interferometry (InSAR) to a range of ground and structure motions relating to urban structures, infrastructure, tunnelling, subsidence, land slippage, resource extraction and geological phenomena.
