Besides its well known role in both frontier and mature basin exploration, NPA is also heavily involved with newer applications such as seismic planning, subsidence mapping and reservoir modelling using all available satellite data.

NPA provide a complete service for Onshore Oil Exploration from data acquisition, through processing and interpretation to digital map production specialising in structural geological interpretation in various GIS formats (typically ArcView).

Using InSAR technology, NPA can measure tiny amounts of subsidence in mature on-shore oil and gas fields caused by gradual collapse of depleted reservoirs. NPA can also undertake facilities mapping using high resolution imagery from both Ikonos and Quickbird.
