| NPA
Group, established in 1972, remains the world leader in the
field of satellite interpretation for oil and gas exploration,
both on and offshore. Such work, when undertaken in the early
stages of an exploration programme, can be of great value in
optimising exploration expenditure. More specifically, mapping
of surface structures onshore and integration with seismic data
can lower the exploration risk on trap presence and mapping
of offshore seeps reduces the risk on source presence. |

Onshore
Oil Exploration and Services |
| Besides
its well known role in onshore geological interpretation, NPA
is increasingly involved with newer applications such as seismic
planning, subsidence mapping and reservoir modelling. |

Offshore
Oil Exploration (Offshore Basin Screening) |
| Offshore
seeps are valuable indicators that new or under-explored parts
of offshore basins contain a mature source. |

Mineral
Exploration |
| Using satellite
data from Landsat TM, Landsat ETM and ASTER, NPA
can undertake lithostructural, alteration and mineral mapping
to aid target generation for ground follow-up. |
